In March 2025, legendary contra dance caller Dudley Laufman gave a presentation on the history of contra dancing, weaving together stories, poems, live music, and this video. The film was shot in 1964 by 23-year-old David Hoffman and features Dudley at age 34.
On Veterans Day 2025 the Richmond Historical Society dedicated a monument to Richmond veterans. Representatives from the Armed Forces to be in attendance. Bringing the monument to fruition was a group effort, but we would especially like to thank Jerry Mills and Dick Drew for their leadership in this endeavor.
Graeme Noseworthy, Takodah YMCA Board President and Camp Historian, presented the history of Camp Takodah in photos and stories that highlighted new discoveries found in archives and libraries across New England.
