Dear Papa

I am glad that you are all going a lot. Keep up the good work. I am getting along allright and like better and better. How is the bible? I wish I had your rifle so I could kill snakes. I think they ought to be killed off and I'd be willing to help. I met a little one and we both dodged awhile. They aren't any good anyway.

With love, Myrtle.

Dear Morris,

I am having a good time in camp. How's Waldo. I've learned to swim. I'll see you next week.

Love Billy

I received your cards last night. The sleighing is not very good but people go with sleighs, there are spots where the sun shines on a lot that are bare. The big team is not going to Swanzey, as nearly everyone has a way to go. If it is not good going they will not go or if it storms.

We have to rehearse tonight.
